As an Android development intern my role was to initially connect the app to services like AWS and Firebase database and display them in the app. We Engineered the apps from scratch and made production ready, responsive application for both user and admin side. We made apps tablet, large screens and small screen compatible. Later I became a permanent member who is responsible for the android app.Worked with technologies like Firebase / GCP and AWS to connect to hardware for Object Detection. During the internship tenure, I explored and built a lot of apps for real-life usages like the E-commerce app this helped me understand and implement some crucial aspects of a production ready app.

Opensource Lead & Ex-Android Core @GDSC-PDPU

Google Developers Student Club (GDSC) is an initiative by google in order to encourage developers in sharing their knowlegde with one another, Initally I was a core member in app team, where I got a chance to share my knowledge of Android with the community in the AndroidStudyJams organised by DSC-PDPU. Recently I am appointed as the opensource Lead in GDSC-PDEU, as the Opensource lead I ideated the FOSStober (HacktoberFest) event. I even took a session for AndroidStudyJams 2021. Opensource also means community bonding and sharing your knowledge which is also something I love to do.

My Projects

Messaging App

This is a messaging app which has features like smart log-in options, smart password calculator, text to speech implementation and even gesture control. It has combined both gesture control and text to speech in the chatlog wherein you can listen to the last message received by gestures.

Image surfing App

It is an ImageSurfing app using the Unsplash-Api for the images, you can even search for high quality images on varied topics from Unsplash. I have also integrated ads by google in this app ,it is made in Java.

DrawingCanvas-Library

This is a Android Library which takes away all the hassle of making a custom view for enabaling drawing on your app. It has features like undo redo clearboard and much more. This is a simple yet effective Library written in kotlin.

Freehand Drawing App

This app was made as a showcase for my DrawingCanvas-Library and is completly written in Kotlin and is availabe on playstore. It has more than 2000 downloads. This app gives features like cropping and adding image to background, undo redo and downloading the drawing. It has clean UI and no ads.
